Storm - 13

Hi Everyone, Tonight I would like to show you a special card I made for my son, Christopher, when he turned 13. The main cartridge I used for this was Paper Doll Dress Up.

I have used blue gel pens to add detail to the clouds, and also watercoloured around the edges of both the clouds and the grasses.

This cute little guy is dressed in the Melbourne Storm colours (his favouorite footy team). I cut the outfit twice - in blue and maroon - and cut to shape accordingly. Boy - those lightning strikes (especially on the shorts) were fiddly.

The goal-posts are large brackets cut from Lyrical Letters, and the football actually spins up and through the goal posts.

A view from inside the card. The football is attached to a 5c piece, then a foam dot, then another 5c piece. This give it the weight it needs to spin.

Hope you like it.
Till next time,
Luv, Tereesa.

  1. Great card Tereesa, how on earth did you work out how to cut the bit where the ball slides?

Thanks for leaving a comment on my blog, I love reading each one. They are sincerely appreciated and brighten my day.
